Scene 39 — "Read it as six"
"Whatever you send me next, get names beside yours first." / "I am asking for their sakes as much as yours — a finding with one name on it can be buried with the name." — conflicting fact: minor.md (Wystow correspondents) cites this exact letter's line as *"You wrote the sample letter alone ... redacted sentence: unpublished prose 011), i.e. canon has Edwin specify the number four. The draft's version drops the number entirely. Minimal replacement preserving the reason: "Whatever you send me next, put four names beside yours, not one. I am asking for their sakes as much as yours..."
Ink-rule, arithmetic, post-times, redacted's unnamed "second hand" status, the "read it as six" wording, and the two-weeks-dies-in-nine-days arithmetic (Day 11 → Day 20, checked against timeline.md's doy key: 234→243 = 9) all check out exactly against edwin.md, silent-soil.md (ch. 011) and timeline.md. No contradictions found.

All station figures — nought at 4/8/12 yd, the live worm at the 12 yd deep spit "possibly carried" on Burl's spade off the redacted-ditch spoil, 20 yd giving 14/11/9, 40 and 80 yd "like a fair" — match silent-soil.md's Day 12 record verbatim.
"Sixteen yards and eight inches from your redacted" and L/M driven that morning by Sennet with letters and date (25 Cornmonth) already burned on — matches silent-soil.md and minor.md (Sennet entry: "drove L and M himself... dated 25 Cornmonth with the rest") exactly.
"Sennet dug the near three himself and Burl the far three" — uncontradicted, uncited: minor.md's Burl entry credits him with digging "the north stations," but its own phrase ("more ground behind him... than any two of the others") implies others also dug, consistent with Sennet's own terms ("the spade is mine or it's Burl's"). No contradiction.
The Weave question "Who is the priest of Fenholt?" and its three fragments — format (present-tense, third-person, no rhyme) matches system.md's Read-the-Weave rules; content stays clear of the field/phenomenon and confirms/denies nothing about Ferrin's robed-man candidacy, satisfying the "Weave never touches a site's evidence" guard and the SCENES.md instruction that this exact question at this exact point must leave both readings open. Compliant.
Tension flagged, not a contradiction: the robe-for-blessings-only claim ("the robe on a nail six days in seven... the man in my spring picture wore his like it was skin") sits next to ferrin.md's Established "ordinary clothes" (ch. 009). These are reconcilable — ch. 009's description is a non-blessing lane encounter, not a categorical claim he never dons a robe — but the file doesn't establish the robe on the page anywhere yet, so this scene is the first to assert it. Flagging per your instruction; no fix required unless you want the robe's existence confirmed elsewhere first.
"Old channels of the ground... stood empty" (worm bores, beetle galleries, one collapsed mole run) applied to Sennet's grass edge — uncontradicted, uncited: extends the established Ordish-field phenomenology (no worms/no bodies inside the edge) to the grass side, which is exactly what the scene's dig is testing. No conflict.
