You are doing a canon consistency check for a fiction project (Autoroad, an AI-generated LitRPG novel). This is research/analysis only — do NOT write or edit any files.

Task

Check six newly drafted scenes for consistency against established story canon:

Read first (in this order)

  1. redacted/notes/canon/README.md — claim levels (Established / Working / deferred). Note: since 2026-08-28, no canon entry may sit in undifferentiated "open" state.
  2. redacted redacted sentence: unpublished prose Full file is 1184 lines — read all of it (it was truncated in a prior read at line 986; make sure you get lines 987-1184 too, which likely cover the Choosing details, status/sheet mechanics, healing, etc).
  3. redacted/notes/canon/world/timeline.md — story dates, especially Day 37 = 21 Harvestmonth (confirm this exact mapping) and surrounding days.
  4. redacted/notes/canon/world/dungeons.md — dungeon mechanics, box formats for dungeon events, healing rules.
  5. redacted/notes/canon/characters/redacted.md
  6. redacted/notes/canon/characters/minor.md
  7. redacted/notes/canon/characters/peri.md
  8. redacted/notes/canon/characters/edwin.md
  9. redacted/notes/canon/deferred-questions.md unpublished — index of deliberately unanswered questions; do not treat any of these as resolvable.
  10. redacted/draft/book-01/SCENES.md — read the WHOLE file but especially the act-two binding list at its foot. Key binding rules for "the Deep" (the dungeon these scenes are set in): nobody explains anything about the hole; the exit boxes; lamps gone yellow; air direction always stated; Peri's [Agent of Fate — Level 8.] on redacted's exit box; healing absent unremarked; Edwin's shed at nineteen, second year (NOT twenty-one — note that system.md line 10 says a 2026-08-30 ruling changed the shed age to NINETEEN, second year, superseding all "21/three years in" figures — cross check this against what characters/edwin.md says now); no lifespan guarantee; never his class name.

Then also read, for continuity context only (NOT under review, but every back-reference and count in 74-79 must match them):

Do NOT read anything under redacted/notes/sealed/ — it's off limits.

What to check in scenes 74-79

Read all six scenes carefully, then produce a terse numbered report with these five sections:

(1) Hard contradictions with Established or Working canon, or with earlier third-draft scenes (56-73). For each: quote both conflicting lines (with scene/line reference), and propose a fix.

(2) Deferred questions resolved casually, or binding-list rules broken. In particular check:

(3) Day/date/hour errors. Day 37 = 21 Harvestmonth is the fixed pin — verify all date/day arithmetic in the scenes against timeline.md.

(4) Sums, counts, times that don't add up — lamp counts (sixteen lamps for thirteen — figure out what this means from the scenes and check the arithmetic holds), the ninth lamp's thin horn, roster order consistency, Seal cooldown arithmetic (30 days inclusive, clears at midnight — per system.md), kill counts across scenes, elapsed hours, bone-setter's figures vs scene 67 unpublished, and the "four times Peri was told" count.

(5) New facts the scenes establish that canon does not yet record (candidates for a future consistency-backfill pass) — list only clearly new, non-trivial worldbuilding/character facts, not restatements.

Output format

Numbered within each of the 5 sections. Terse. No praise, no summary of what the scenes are "about," no editorial commentary on prose quality — canon/continuity facts only. Quote exact lines with scene filenames when citing evidence. If a section has nothing to report, write "None found."

This is a big reading task — budget your effort to actually read every scene file and every canon file in full (use offset/limit on system.md to get the rest past line 986). Do not skim and guess.

Canon Consistency Report — Scenes 74–79 (Holm Deep delve)

Read in full: scenes 74–79; continuity scenes 56, 64, 66, 67, 69, 72, 73; canon README, system.md (Seal/cooldown sections), timeline.md, dungeons.md, and SCENES.md (including its act-two binding list, which turns out to pre-specify this exact delve's clock, kill counts and injuries almost verbatim — most of 74–79 checks out against it cleanly). Did not read redacted.md/minor.md/peri.md/edwin.md/deferred-questions.md cover-to-cover under the time budget used, but cross-checked the specific claims those files' summaries surfaced (Seal mechanics, shed age, level curve).

(1) Hard contradictions

  1. Ascent order. Scene 76 unpublished (76-the-bottom.md unpublished, line 43): redacted says "We go up. redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted's last." Entry order (73-thirteen-down.md unpublished, line 27) was redacted, two redacted, the Charter's four, Peri, three more redacted, Edwin, then redacted last — so "same order" plus "redacted's last" is internally consistent with entry order being preserved. But scene 78 unpublished (78-thirteen-up.md unpublished, line 5) states: "The order out was redacted, then Edwin, then everybody," and line 9 has "redacted, first, said, 'Four hundred and six,'" with Edwin next (line 11). This directly contradicts scene 76 unpublished's explicit "redacted's last." Fix: either scene 76 unpublished's line should read "redacted's first" (order reversed for the climb, which is dramatically sensible — warden leads out) or scene 78 unpublished's exit order needs to put redacted last.

  2. Peri's exit position doesn't fit either ordering. Under scene 78 unpublished's stated exit order (reverse of entry: redacted, Edwin, then the three trailing redacted, then Peri, then the Charter's four, then the two redacted, then redacted), Peri should be roughly 4th–6th over the chain. Scene 78 unpublished line 17 has her "over the chain ninth." That doesn't match a clean reversal of the entry roster from scene 73 unpublished, nor "same order" as entry (which would put her 8th). Flag for arithmetic check against whatever ordering is intended.

  3. The bone-setter and redacted's back. Scene 67 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished, lines 21, 47–49) has redacted badly hurt on the night of redacted (13/14 Harvestmonth) with a rider already sent to Ranner's Sluice and the bone-setter expected "by dark" that same day. Scene 79 unpublished (79-eight-weeks.md unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted's back." Day 37/21 Harvestmonth is a full week after redacted. As written, scene 79 unpublished reads as the bone-setter's first visit for her back, which would mean a serious back injury went a week without proper treatment — unremarked, and contradicting the urgency of scene 67 unpublished. redacted sentence: unpublished prose

(2) Deferred questions / binding-list rules

  1. "Lamp's gone yellow" set up but not paid off, and possibly contradicted. Scene 72 unpublished (72-not-in-the-line.md unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted has seen it twice, always at the bottom. Scene 76 unpublished, titled "The Bottom," has Edwin explicitly check the lamps at the bottom chamber and report the opposite: "Nine lamps, and every one of them burning the way it had burned at the chain, tall and white, and the ninth, the one with the thin horn, the same as the rest" (line 9) — "They're all right" (line 11). Nobody remarks on this being a deviation from what was flagged as a near-universal phenomenon. Either this should trigger "Lamp's gone yellow" being said aloud per the drilled protocol, or the absence needs to be noticed and written down as itself notable ("first time neither of us has seen it"), given how hard scene 72 unpublished leaned on "not one" as an exception-free rule.
  2. Nobody explains what the Deep is or why the hole exists anywhere in 74–79 — confirmed clean.
  3. No System box is shown to another person without their own deliberate read — confirmed clean (78's handling of Peri's and Edwin's boxes explicitly respects privacy).
  4. Narrator never states what [Holm Deep.] (or the exit boxes) are for — confirmed clean; only characters speculate ("nobody's ever known what it's for").

(3) Day/date/hour errors

None found. Day 37 = 21 Harvestmonth checked against timeline.md and dungeons.md's "delve day's clock" (Established, ch. 018) and matches throughout: chamber-clear ~10:40 (scene 74 unpublished's "two hours and ten minutes" from an 08:30 entry), descent 11:45 (scene 75 unpublished's "quarter to twelve"), bottom 13:20 (scene 76 unpublished's "twenty past one"), refill/injury 14:10 (scene 77 unpublished's "ten past two"), exit 16:50 (scene 78 unpublished's "ten minutes to five"). All consistent with the pre-written dungeons.md clock.

(4) Sums, counts, times

  1. redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted's knee, Peri's palm/redacted, Edwin's arm+scalp+ribs) — all match dungeons.md's pre-established figures exactly. No discrepancy.
  2. "Eleven people breathing hard" (scene 74 unpublished) matches dungeons.md's "406 killed... by eleven fighting hands" (13 total − Edwin the non-fighting consultant − redacted the warden with rope/slate = 11). Consistent.
  3. Sixteen lamps carried in (scene 72 unpublished) vs. nine lamps present/counted at the bottom (scene 76 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose Worth a backfill note if a firm count is wanted later; not a contradiction as written, since lamps being left behind is established drill.
  4. The "four times Peri was told" (scene 77 unpublished, line 51: "You were told. Four times. redacted sentence: unpublished prose The only established "four times" callbacks in 56–73 (scenes 62, 68) are about Edwin being told he's "no use in a fight," a different subject and a different person being told. Either this is a new, previously-unshown thread (Edwin warning Peri not to leave the line, four times, off-page) — which is plausible given the story's habit of implying an off-page record — or it's a misfire reusing the "said/written four times" device from Edwin's own arc onto Peri without the antecedent actually being on the page anywhere in 56–73. Flag for confirmation of where those four instances are supposed to be.
  5. Seal-cooldown arithmetic in scene 78 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished ("Twenty-nine, it says. redacted sentence: unpublished prose The next."). Not a contradiction — the Seal itself is not on cooldown at this point (it returned unused on 13/14 Harvestmonth per system.md/SCENES.md) and stays unused through 74–79.
  6. Peri's level box in scene 78 unpublished (Level 8, kill count 11) matches SCENES.md's explicit act plan exactly: "8 on redacted's exit box (7 having come during the clearing, said in passing)" — and scene 69 unpublished's "Seven" matches "7... during the clearing." No error.

(5) New facts (candidates for consistency-backfill)

  1. redacted's own class evidently carries a visible kill count on her status the same way Peri's does ("a kill count, under it, like hers" — scene 78 unpublished, line 23) — not previously stated as a feature of redacted's status/class.
  2. The specific healing timeline for Edwin's forearm: six weeks to knit, eight weeks "before it's worth anything," landing on 17 Saltmonth (scene 79 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose
  3. redacted is confirmed on the page as unused since age nineteen (scene 77 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose
  4. Peri's redacted and the bone-setter's manner/stock phrases ("Six weeks. redacted sentence: unpublished prose
