User:
You are running a consistency check on four newly drafted scenes of Book 1 of "Autoroad" (LitRPG novel repo at redacted). Do NOT read anything under notes/sealed/.
TARGET SCENES (read these in full):
- draft/book-01/scenes/43-two-lines-one-field.md unpublished
- draft/book-01/scenes/44-where-they-stopped-writing.md unpublished
redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished- draft/book-01/scenes/46-a-list-of-houses.md unpublished
GROUND TRUTH TO READ FIRST, IN FULL:
- notes/canon/README.md (claim levels: Established/on-page-cited, Working/binding-until-overruled, Open questions/deferred-with-trigger)
redacted sentence: unpublished prose
redacted sentence: unpublished prose- notes/canon/world/silent-soil.md
- grep -rl "Holm Deep" notes/canon and read whichever file(s) it's in
- notes/canon/characters/redacted.md
- notes/canon/characters/minor.md
- notes/canon/characters/peri.md
- notes/canon/characters/edwin.md
- notes/canon/clue-ledger.md
- notes/canon/deferred-questions.md unpublished (whole triaged table)
- draft/book-01/SCENES.md — specifically the act-two binding list at the foot of the file
ALSO READ FOR CONTINUITY CONTEXT ONLY (not under review; only report findings on these if the new scenes contradict them):
- draft/book-01/scenes/3[4-9]-.md and draft/book-01/scenes/4[0-2]-.md (glob these)
WHAT TO CHECK in the four target scenes:
- Hard contradictions with Established or Working canon — quote canon line (with file) and scene line (with file+location), give minimal fix.
- Deferred questions the scenes resolve casually — check each entry in deferred-questions.md's table against what the scenes say; note the entry's named trigger and whether these scenes constitute that trigger or a premature resolution.
- redacted sentence: unpublished prose Check all date/day-count references in the four scenes for arithmetic consistency with each other, with timeline.md, and with scenes 34-42.
- Names, sums, distances, roster counts that don't add up — within the four scenes themselves and against canon (character names/spellings, ages — especially any stray "21/three years" shed-age figures that should now read nineteen/second-year per the override — headcounts, money sums, travel distances/times).
- New facts the four scenes establish that canon does not yet record — list as backfill candidates for the separate consistency-backfill skill (do not edit canon files yourself).
Also apply general consistency-check categories: System mechanics (mana is recharge capacity, never a stored bank), character continuity (knowledge state — a character can't use info not learned on-page or plausibly offstage), world facts, timeline, physical/scene continuity, voice-level facts (epithets/titles/skill names consistent), and "affordances have infrastructure" (any casual capability like precise clock time, fast news, cheap materials must be backed by canon or flagged).
This is READ-ONLY — do not edit any files.
OUTPUT: A numbered findings list, most severe first, in these categories: contradiction / drift / ambiguity / backfill-candidate. For each finding quote scene line + location, quote/cite conflicting canon or note absence, classify, suggest minimal fix. Be terse — no praise, no throat-clearing. If a category has no findings, say so plainly. Report your full findings list as your final message (this is the deliverable — I will relay it directly).

Overview: These four scenes are exceptionally tightly sourced to established canon (chain figures, dates, headcounts, character quotes, and gear descriptions largely reuse or exactly reconstruct on-page material from notes/canon/world/silent-soil.md, timeline.md, redacted.md, and minor.md). I checked all date/day arithmetic, chain-figure arithmetic, mileage, headcounts, and dialogue attributions against canon. No hard contradictions were found. Below are the categories with actual findings; categories with none are stated plainly.
None found. All chain readings (6 ch 20 → 6 ch 18; 9 ch 50 unpublished/48 → 9 ch 73 unpublished), dates (28/29 Cornmonth), the Holm Deep interval math (82 days = "eleven weeks and five days"; 239−190=49, 272−239=33), mileage (Fenholt–Ashway bridge = 40−8 = 32 miles, matching scene 44 unpublished's "thirty-two miles west"), the roster arithmetic in scene 45 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted redacted sentence: unpublished prose
None found. Scene 43 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose No god, holiday, realm, or Edwin class-name is named. No lifespan guarantee is stated for Edwin.
None found. Scene 42 unpublished = Day 13 (27 Cornmonth, matches timeline's "first protocol worm count... redacted's nine pound"); scene 43 unpublished = Days 14–15 (28–29 Cornmonth, "fourth morning" counting from Day 11); scenes 44–46 = Day 15 (29 Cornmonth), matching the Charter's ruling of Holm Deep to 2 Fallowmonth "that morning." All internal arithmetic (23 links in 5 days, 33/49-day Holm Deep figures, "a day of the month left" for the Cornmonth leakage count of 19) is correct.
None found in error. Verified consistent: redacted's "four clearings, five with the Twelve Acre" exchange; redacted "about forty... good pen and a bad cough"; redacted unnamed-age-in-canon but not contradicted; redacted's "nine pound" and brother detail; redacted "at his sister's."
plans/book-01/clue-ledger.md unpublished is keyed to a prior/superseded scene-numbering scheme and does not cover the current 43–46 range at all — see Drift below).plans/book-01/clue-ledger.md unpublished is keyed to an older scene-numbering scheme (rewrite/book-01/arc-0N/scenes/, chapters 037–054) that does not correspond to the current draft/book-01/scenes/ numbering (01–89) these four scenes belong to. It cannot be used to verify clue-budget compliance for scenes 43–46 as currently numbered, and should be treated as not covering this stretch. This is a housekeeping gap, not a content error.
