Done. Ten notes checked against the scenes they attach to (chapters 39-48 in publishing/chapters.json), farming.md rules 4-7, and author.md.

Per file:

Budget and persona: all ten are under 300 words with no world content beyond a pointing clause, one digression (the 1576 Act in note 81, closed with "I'll stop"), and no cryptic closers. No term is re-explained: ch. 21's Whips note covers bare-root stock, note 86 covers establishment, which is different content; ch. 12's tithe note covers the maps, note 81 covers the corn-rent indexation. The glossary entries for the peat gouge, bedding plane and clay-with-flints are old-draft (ch. 023/024/029) chapters that were deleted, so these are first explanations in the published sequence.

Softened and left unverified: the friendly-society margin practice (note 83).

New autobiographical claims, logged in notes/author.md: ch. 43, lost most of a year's work to unreadable labels and an undrawn plan (note 88); ch. 47, has laid peat cores out of order and knows how that goes wrong (note 96).

`prose_lint.py --scope note over all ten: 0 errors, 5 warnings (per-file causal-which density in short notes, plus the corpus indefinite-pronoun budget, which is within limit).
