Read and follow redacted: private exactly. Your batch: chapters 43–50 (scenes 90–105). Batch id for the glossary file: D.

Done. Batch D written.
Scope note: the brief said "chapters 43–50 (scenes 90–105)", but publishing/chapters.json puts scenes 90–105 in chapters 44–51 (ch. 43 = scenes 88–89, which already has a note). I followed the scene range, which is exact and self-consistent: eight chapters, eight files, one per chapter on its first scene.
Files written (all in redacted/draft/book-01/author-notes/`):
| file | lead term | words |
|---|---|---|
| `90-the-made-road.md unpublished | Opening a stack (ratting a stack) | 199 |
| redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished | Care of (poste restante, penny post) | 225 |
| redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished | A cut face weathers | 297 |
| redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished` | The peat gouge | 255 |
| `98-nine-sentences.md unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose | ||
| 100-the-sending-book.md unpublished` | The sending-book (Watt's copying press; the batch's one digression) | 239 |
102-plot-fourteen.md unpublished |
Weather in a yield column | 275 |
104-ground-that-doesnt-answer.md unpublished |
Blinding | 240 |
Autobiographical claims made (one only, for logging in `notes/author.md): scene 96 unpublished note — has laid peat cores out on a plank and numbered them in the field, having learned how numbering them afterwards from memory goes wrong.
Coordination with the parallel batches: I checked the note files that appeared while I worked and dropped two items that would have duplicated them — Stitches out (already at scene 88 unpublished) and Three shillings and dinner (already at scene 81 unpublished), replacing the latter with The redacted run. Peat gouge and bedding plane are glossary entries from the deleted first draft only; scene 96 unpublished is their first working in the published book, so I placed them there.
Glossary additions file: redacted: private` (17 new entries plus eight deliberate deferrals with reasons). The glossary itself is untouched.
Lint: `uv run tools/lint/prose_lint.py --scope note on the eight files — 0 errors, 1 warning. Fixed on agreement: note over length (94), two "the whole" flags, one "ordinary" against the run budget. The remaining warning is the corpus-level indefinite-pronoun budget (5 uses in 1,956 words = 25.6/10,000); the whole accepted 80-file note corpus runs at 29.5/10,000, so my density is below the established norm and I did not cut further.
