Findings — scenes 79 and 80

  1. [HIGH] redacted is discovered twice. Scene 60 unpublished ("It's alive, all of it" — the Holm Deep inspection visit, ~10 Harvestmonth) already has redacted and Edwin find, characterize, and begin to write up the exact same channel scene 80 unpublished treats as a fresh discovery: a straight, dug channel running from a pool/spring 400 yd below the Deep's mouth down to the withy bed/main cut, older than the causeway, not on the Charter's map. Scene 60 unpublished redacted sentence: unpublished prose redacted... "Somebody dug that. redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished has the identical beat played as news thirteen days later: "'Nobody's dug anything out here,' said redacted. 'Not in the Charter's time. There's nothing out here to dig for.'" and Edwin's "That was dug... Somebody made it," as if neither of them has ever seen it. This is a duplication within the current draft, not just against old canon — scene 80 unpublished needs rewriting so it extends the already-known channel (e.g. walking its upstream/withy-bed end and finding the three-way fork) rather than re-discovering that it was dug at all.

2. [HIGH] Who words the finding. Canon is explicit and triple-sourced: dungeons.md, peri.md, and timeline.md (Day 39) all state the finding was worded by Edwin — peri.md: *"worded by Edwin at redacted's request 'because ... redacted sentence: unpublished prose unpublished reverses this: Edwin says "Millbrook. Word it. It's yours," and Peri composes it herself while redacted transcribes. This directly contradicts the established reason Edwin worded it (to stop her under-claiming it). Either scene 80 unpublished needs to have Edwin word it, or this is a deliberate revision that must be pushed back into canon.

3. [MEDIUM] "five weeks" is an arithmetic error, and self-contradicts within the same day. Peri arrived at the Ordish gate/Fenholt on Day 9; Day 37 (the night of scene 79 unpublished) is 28 days later — exactly four weeks. Scene 79 unpublished has it twice as "five weeks": "he had walked it with her perhaps forty times in five weeks" and "a girl of eighteen from Appleford who had come to the Ordish gate five weeks before." Scene 78 unpublished, set hours earlier the same day, has Peri herself say "I've been in the parish four weeks." Fix: change both instances in scene 79 unpublished to "four weeks."

4. Bone-setter "second time in a week" — supported, but only by groundwork, not formal canon. draft/book-01/BACKFILL-ACT2.md states he came on the 14th (for redacted redacted sentence: unpublished prose Low-severity; worth formalizing in canon if the author wants it locked in, not an error as drafted.
